Reduce solar heat gain with wind-resistant ZIP screens and aluminium facade shading
Exterior sun protection controls heat before it reaches the glass. ZIP screen systems can reduce solar heat gain while maintaining outward visibility when fabric openness, glass and orientation are selected correctly.
The side-guided ZIP system keeps the screen fabric taut in every position. With translucent waterproof coating, the fabric provides heat protection, UV filtering and rain resistance. Wind exposure reviewed by project, our screens perform reliably in any weather.
Choose your control method: manual crank operation (Luxa 100) for budget installations, solar-powered motor (Luxa 100S) for cable-free convenience, or 230V electric motor (Luxa 100M) for wall switch and remote control integration.
Our ZIP screens cover areas up to 6000mm wide × 5000mm high in a single piece. For larger facades, multiple units can be combined seamlessly. Horizontal top screens (Luxa 100T) provide overhead coverage for glass roofs and skylights.
For structural sun protection, our aluminium brise-soleil systems offer 3-5 panel configurations. Top-hung sliding rails with stainless steel runners ensure smooth operation for decades. Available with single or double glazing for thermal insulation.
