The Luxa 500 is a manually operated bioclimatic pergola designed for projects where electrical connection is unavailable or where budget optimisation is the priority. The hand-crank mechanism provides smooth, effort-free blade rotation from 0° to 120° without any power supply.
Despite its manual operation, the Luxa 500 shares the same premium construction as the motorised range: 6063-T6 aluminium extrusion profiles, QUALICOAT Class II powder coating, and the interlocking blade seal system. When closed, it delivers comparable rain-protection performance when specified for the project to the Luxa 700.
Freestanding or wall-mounted configurations. Column dimensions: 150×150 mm. Snow load: 60 kg/m². The crank handle is concealed within the column for a clean aesthetic.
Ideal applications include residential gardens, retrofit projects on older buildings, rental properties, and locations with limited electrical infrastructure. The Luxa 500 can be upgraded to motorised operation (Luxa 500M) at any time by adding a tubular motor — the structural frame remains identical.
