The Flat Roof Veranda is a contemporary room extension with a horizontal aluminium roof structure and floor-to-ceiling glazing. The clean, linear roofline integrates seamlessly with modern architecture.
Roof construction: aluminium box-section beams with thermal break inserts and insulated composite roof panels (U-value ≤ 0.8 W/m²K). Maximum depth: 5,000 mm from building facade. Integrated gutter with concealed downpipe routing.
Glazing: insulated double glazing (Uw ≤ 1.4 W/m²K) in sliding, folding, or fixed frames. Triple glazing option available for passive house standard (Uw ≤ 0.8 W/m²K). Recessed LED downlights in the roof beam profiles. Optional: motorised roof vent for natural ventilation.
